Strength Training...
The common definition is “The ability to exert a force against a resistance” The strength needed for a sprinter to explode from the blocks is different to the strength a weight lifter needs to lift a 150kg barbell. Therefore these are different types of strength training.
Strength training in the gym is a common area where people make mistakes and often where overtraining results in injury. Overtraining occurs when the amount of stress you place on your body is more than it can handle.
