Pre & Post Natal Exercise...

For the expecting Mum, exercise is hugely beneficial for both mum and baby.

Maintenance and posture related exercises can help with tone and can help alleviate lower back problems during pregnancy. Exercise should be gentle and controlled and certain positions and moves should be avoided.

Dependant on which trimester period the mum to be is in. Generally women who exercise during pregnancy can maintain a better self image and can be more positive about them selves, their pregnancy and the imminent birth of their child. Exercise is a very positive tool.

Exercise prescription for pregnant mums has to be carefully designed, with my help the results will be rewarding.

Regular check-ups and meeting with your Doctor and Midwife are also required and require incorporating within the exercise programme.
